Want to have fun and help the print disabled? Become a live on-air reader with Radio 4RPH! Three times a day we broadcast live readings from Australia’s top newspapers and are looking for dedicated volunteers that are willing to read them!

We are looking for those that have a passion for helping others. We provide a unique radio service to the greater Brisbane area and need your help in getting information and educational readings to those who are unable to read for many reasons.

If interested, you will be asked to come in and read for one of our blind technical producers as an audition. Once the audition is passed you will then get to shadow a live on-air shift to train you up before you get to
read live on-air.

You will learn how to select stories from the newspaper, microphone technique, and most importantly work and have fun with some amazing people. There is also the opportunity to create and record your own
program with a magazine or book of your choice.

Shifts can fit around most schedules.

Requirements: You need a good voice with clear diction. It will be a requirement to pass an audition before becoming an on-air reader.

Training: Full training will be provided

Transport: We are close to Central Train Station and a popular bus route in Spring Hill
